In der Zwischenzeit hab ich eine Information von Smyril Line bekommen, dass ich eine Zollerklärung für mein Auto ausfüllen muss.
Auf den Färöer Inseln bin ich vom 18. bis 21. August, und ich hab ein Bett in Kollafjørður bei Airbnb Marjun Leifdottir. Die Fähre legt am 18.08.2024 um 22:30 in Torshavn an.

Hvis du ikke har lejet bil, så vil jeg anbefale dig, at udforske bus og færge ruter ganske meget inden din ankomst, da det kan være lidt mere besværligt, at fragte sig rundt på øerne uden bil.

EKSEMPEL: Hvis du flyver fra Færøerne om lørdagen, skal du være opmærksom på, at der ikke er så mange busafgange i weekenderne. Hvis du skal køre i bus fra mit hjem og være i lufthavnen mindst en time inden du skal flyve fx en lørdag klokken 16.00
1) Bus nr. 7 (rød lokal bus, den er gratis) fra Norduri í Sundum til Tórshavn klokken 10.00 og du er i Centrum (Steinatún) i Tórshavn klokken 10.59.
2) Bus 300 kører fra Tórshavn til lufthavnen klokken 12.45 og du er i lufthavnen klokken 13.40. Bus 300 kører fra Bus Centralen, det er i cirka 7 – 10 min gåafstand fra Steinatún til FARSTØDIN (buscentralen på havnen).

…some advice about restaurants
As we are expecting many tourists in the Faroes mostly in the summer period, it is likely that it will be difficult to get a table at the restaurant of your choice, if you are not quick to make a reservation. We would therefore recommend that you make reservations right away, if you are planning to go out for a meal, during your stay, as all the popular restaurants are regularly fully booked.
Here is a list of some of the nicer restaurants in Tórshavn.
Since Koks relocated to Greenland, Ræst https://raest.fo/ has taken its place as the crown jewel of Faroese cuisine. It reinvents the old Faroese culinary tradition exploring the art of fermentation the dry-aging process at the heart of many powerful Faroese flavors. It is the most expensive restaurant we have but it is well worth a visit despite that.
Roks https://www.roks.fo/ is a new seafood restaurant. Despite the food being at an amazing fine dining level, the restaurant manages to have a nice and casual vibe. (It is the sister restaurant of Koks, the famous Michelin restaurant, which temporarily has been relocated to Greenland, and the wine list features a lot of the wines, which used to be served a Koks.)
Skeiva Pakkhús https://skeivapakkhus.fo/ serves Italian inspired dishes consisting of mainly local produce such as Faroese fish, shellfish, lamb and vegetables. It is a very cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere, and you get a fantastic view of the harbor in Tórshavn while enjoying your meal. Ask to sit by a window with view 😉
Áarstova https://aarstova.fo/aarstova/ is a very cozy restaurant near the harbor. The restaurant specializes in lamb and seafood. Áarstova has an authentic location in the oldest part of Tórshavn and is in a historic building with a charming soul. We would especially recommend the rump steak of lamb, as it is incredibly delicious and unique.
Barbara https://barbara.fo/barbara/ is another popular seafood restaurant. As with many of the other restaurants on this list, it is located in a very cozy historic Faroese house.
Tarv https://tarv.fo is a fancy steakhouse restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food is very nice, but it is on the expensive side. It is also located by the harbor. We recommend asking for a table upstairs with a view of the harbor.
Katrina Christiansen https://www.katrina.fo/ is a nice tapas restaurant. It takes the Spanish tapas tradition and infuses it with high quality local produce. This is one of the more cost friendly fine dining restaurants.
